This 3D printed shoe sole was part of Year 2 fundamental CAID lesson. In 2017, Adidas announced that it would work with Carbon to 3D print shoes in hope of customising it for different athletes. This project replicates the NMD sole series as well as distributing a lattice structure within the sole and finally producing a prototype through Selective Laser Sintering (SLS).
